In response to neighbors’ concerns about selling the ACCA-owned lots on Alpine Street, ACCA will be hosting a virtual Alpine Properties Worksession as a kick-off to meaningful and productive communication with our neighbors.
This first virtual worksession will serve as the group’s initial conversation about strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of recent development and vacant properties in the upper portion of our neighborhood. As design parameters or performance standards for an RFP are generated, sessions would be best done in person – either indoors when the Covid numbers diminish, or at a meeting outdoors.
Alpine Street Worksession #1 will be held virtually on Saturday, January 22 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. To preregister for the session, visit the ACCA Alpine Properties Worksession #1 registration page. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
When you come to the virtual worksession, please be prepared to participate. There may a few breakout rooms or exercises in smaller groups depending on attendance. It would be best if you could join from a place where you can speak and listen easily. Also, if possible, it would be great to see people’s faces – if willing and able, of course.
Please Note: This worksession is open to ALL of our neighbors – not just those who live on Alpine and surrounding streets. Please share this information with your neighbors.
If you have any questions or need more information, email Maggie Connor, President of Allegheny City Central Association.
